Our Mission Statement:
The purpose of this Chapter shall be to promote, encourage, and sustain student interest in insurance, risk management, and actuarial science as professions; to encourage high moral and scholastic attainments of its members; and to facilitate the interaction of educational institutions and industry through networking and by fostering research activities, scholarship, and improved public relations.

The Beta Chi Chapter shall accomplish this mission by building a close-knit community of students, faculty, and alumni who share similar academic and career interests. By combining University resources with industry and inter-chapter support, the Beta Chi Chapter will provide its members with tools and resources that will help them prepare for high-quality employment opportunities.

Members of the Beta Chi Chapter shall engage in a wide array of exciting activities—both social and professional—to expand their networks and to distinguish themselves in today’s highly competitive talent market. The Chapter welcomes any interested party and promotes a friendly and positive environment for personal and professional growth.
